007 First Light gives you more options than crouching behind furniture and hoping the room forgets you exist. The trick is knowing when to stay calm, when to spend instinct, and when to shut a problem down before the whole area wakes up.
These tips are pulled from the social post package and rewritten for the site in Game Pelt style. The focus is simple: cleaner stealth, better gadget use, fewer backup calls, and less panic spending in TacSim.

Save Instinct For Bluff Checks
Bluff can save a messy spot, but only if instinct is ready when the guard pushes you. Get a few clean takedowns early so you are not standing there empty when the suspicion meter starts asking questions.

Respect Watchers While Disguised
Disguises are not magic. Regular guards may buy the act, but watchers can still spot you, so keep your distance and do not stroll directly into their face like the costume came with diplomatic immunity.
Contain One Guard Instead Of Running
If one or two guards catch you, handle it fast and keep the mess local. Sprinting away usually turns a small problem into a building-wide announcement that Bond has lost the plot.
Stop Backup Calls First
The second a guard starts calling backup, they become the priority. Drop them, interrupt them, or close the gap before the fight turns into a pileup you did not need.

Throw Empty Guns
An empty gun is not useless yet. Throw it to stun someone, buy a second, close distance, or grab another weapon before the room catches up.
Move Guards With The Dart Phone
If a guard is planted right on your route, use the dart phone to move them off the post. They leave, you slip through, and nobody has to start shooting over one bad doorway.

Use The Laser Strap Outside Locks
The laser strap is not just a lock tool. Use it on cameras, padlocks, distractions, and fights where you need one quick opening before the room gets control back.

Buy Useful Gear Before Cosmetics
TacSim points should go into gadgets, upgrades, and weapons before outfits. Looking sharp is nice, but it does not help much if your loadout still folds the second the plan gets punched.
The Short Version
Play like the alarm is expensive. Keep instinct ready, give watchers space, stop backup calls, use empty weapons and gadgets as openings, and spend TacSim points on gear that actually saves the run.
