Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is playable at New York Comic Con this weekend. Bandai Namco lists a demo at the Dragon Ball booth, #2401, during the October 8-11 convention at the Javits Center in New York City.

If you already have NYCC admission, that is a useful stop to add to your day: a chance to try the sequel ahead of its planned 2027 release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam.

Head to Dragon Ball booth #2401

The publisher lists the Xenoverse 3 demo alongside an AGE 1000 photo opportunity and giveaways. Dragon Ball's event announcement says demo participants can receive an original lanyard, while supplies last. Distribution can change, so check with the booth staff rather than counting on a souvenir.

Confirm your convention ticket or badge arrangements before traveling. The checked event pages do not provide a separate timetable for Xenoverse 3 sessions, booking instructions or a guaranteed place in the line. Ask staff about the current queue when you arrive.

A playable demo does not promise the full character creator

The NYCC listing confirms that attendees can play. It does not specify the build version, available avatar races or how much customization is unlocked. The wider game's announced features should not be treated as a menu of everything this booth session offers.

Use the time to judge what is actually in front of you: movement, combat controls and whether the battle information is easy to follow. A short event session can answer those immediate questions. It cannot settle final balance, progression or how the finished game will perform.

This is an in-person convention opportunity. These announcements do not offer a downloadable demo for home play or set a more precise release date.

Mall of America is the next separate stop

Players closer to Minnesota have another option on October 16-18, when the Road Tour reaches Mall of America in Bloomington. Game Pelt's Mall of America demo coverage has the location and posted hours for that event.

For NYCC attendees, the useful information is already clear: find Dragon Ball booth #2401 before the convention ends October 11 and check the session arrangements there. If you cannot attend, wait for dated hands-on footage and official build details before assuming this appearance brings new features.
