Game Pelt

Editorial Policy

How Game Pelt approaches sourcing, reviews, guides, corrections, and reader trust.

Sourcing

News coverage should be based on reliable sources such as official game sites, publisher posts, developer updates, storefront listings, platform blogs, press materials, and reputable reporting. When possible, articles should link to or name the original source.

Guides

Guides are written to be useful to players, not just to fill search pages. Guide work may use official game information, hands-on context, community knowledge, video research, and repeated advice patterns, but the final article should be original Game Pelt writing.

Reviews

Reviews and review-style articles should make clear whether they are based on direct play, critical consensus, or a review roundup. They should identify strengths, weaknesses, and who the game is best suited for without copying another outlet's work.

Images

Game Pelt uses official screenshots, artwork, storefront media, publisher or developer press images, and Game Pelt-created assets where appropriate. Game names, screenshots, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

AI Assistance

Game Pelt may use editorial tools, automation, and AI assistance to help research, draft, format, or publish content. Articles should still be checked for accuracy, sourcing, originality, image attribution, and usefulness before publication.

Corrections

If an article is wrong, outdated, unclear, or missing important context, contact contact@gamepelt.com with the article URL and the specific issue. We may update the article, add context, or correct the affected section.
