Dune: Awakening’s community needs 80 million NPC kills to unlock all eight CHOAM Extension building pieces in El Sayldam: The Rain of Blood. Funcom’s El Sayldam announcement sets the challenge window at September 25 through October 5.

Which kills count?

The official challenge page specifies NPC kills in single-player or on official servers, across PC, Xbox and PlayStation. Location does not matter: Hagga Basin, the Deep Desert, story areas and testing stations all count.

Those kills feed one shared total. You do not need to reach any of the milestone numbers personally.

Four milestones, eight building pieces

Each cumulative target unlocks two CHOAM Extension pieces:

  • 20 million NPC kills: Floor and Roof.
  • 40 million: Wall 01 and Wall 02.
  • 60 million: Passageway and Wall 03.
  • 80 million: Column and Wall Round Corner.

All eight pieces depend on the community completing all four milestones. The set extends the base CHOAM pieces, though Funcom says players can use it however they want.

Who receives the rewards?

Unlocked rewards go to players who log in between September 17 and November 5, including those on private or self-hosted servers. Rewards unlock for all characters and will be awarded at the end of the challenge.

That login period is separate from the September 25–October 5 kill-counting window. Private-server reward eligibility also does not mean private-server kills count; Funcom names solo play and official servers as the contributing modes.
