Edge of Memories will launch November 5 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The date arrived during Xbox's Tokyo Game Show broadcast, and the more important update is that Midgar Studio has been changing the launch build in response to its Steam demo.

The demo feedback changed the launch build

Midgar Studio says it has rebalanced enemy health and player damage, refined combat feel and added expected options including a motion-blur toggle and the ability to disable subtitles. Those are practical corrections to the issues players raised after the June demo.

What the game is

Eline is a Soul Whisperer fighting a plague called the Corrosion across Avaris. Combat combines light and heavy attacks with perfect dodges, while the infection changes areas and can open new routes when players return to them.

Editions and early access

The Deluxe Edition includes costume packs, a digital artbook and the soundtrack, plus access from November 3. PC will not have a normal pre-order, but Nacon says early purchasers will receive the Legacy Costume Pack for a limited period after launch.

The date is firm; performance still needs proving

The official PC requirements are now published, but the demo's performance complaints make the final build the part worth watching. A release date and revised settings are useful. They do not confirm that the technical problems are solved.
