Metro 2039 preorders open next week, according to an October 9 announcement from the game's official account. The notice gives a window rather than an exact day, and does not name a price, opening time or retailer.

The announcement also directs players interested in the Collector's Edition to register for updates. If you want the helmet, that is the useful step now. Wait for the actual purchase listing before deciding whether the package is worth buying.

The wearable Spartan helmet is confirmed

Deep Silver has revealed a wearable replica of the Stranger's Spartan helmet for the Collector's Edition. It is based on the protagonist's in-game model, including its damage and worn details.

The publisher says the edition has limited availability, but its reveal does not supply a unit count. The October 9 notice does not fill in the remaining package contents, retailer allocation or price. Those details still matter before spending.

Registering interest is not placing an order

The Collector's Edition signup is a notification list for news about when and where purchasing opens. It is not a checkout or a confirmed reservation. Check the full contents, total cost and availability in your region when the listings appear.

Metro 2039's release remains February 4, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Some territories, including Asia, Australia and New Zealand, are listed for February 5.

For now, watch for the next preorder announcement. The October 9 post's wording is next week; an exact opening day and the actual offer are still the details to check.
