Neon Abyss 2 Leaves Early Access With Storm Breach and Co-op Save Fixes
Neon Abyss 2 leaves Early Access with Storm Breach out of beta, Steam achievements and fixes for co-op saves, stuck runs and missed progression.
Neon Abyss 2's 1.0 release gives returning co-op players two useful reasons to reinstall: Storm Breach is out of beta, and Veewo has addressed a long list of save and progression problems in its October 8 launch update.
The changes target more than missing results screens. Veewo's notes cover co-op data affecting personal saves, continuation data disappearing after a disconnect, and progression gains being skipped along with the results animation. If those problems interrupted your earlier runs, this is an update worth checking.
Storm Breach is ready for another run
Veewo describes Storm Breach as a faster, streamlined mode for one to four players. Its move out of beta is the news here; four-player online co-op was already part of Neon Abyss 2, rather than a feature first introduced by 1.0.
The launch also adds Theia, a new Titan, and brings Steam achievements. Veewo says achievements should unlock automatically if you already met their requirements. Random Agent selection returns at the bar, while individual Agent profiles record abilities, boss kills and the highest Fate record.
Build changes give returning players something else to revisit. Artisanism now uses badges to provide a new Affix after crafting. Alloy Resolve keeps its explosion immunity and free grenades, with grenade blast range increased to 1.5 times its previous value. That is a specific set change, not a promise that every build gets stronger.

The co-op fixes matter when the session ends
The developer says progression is now applied separately from the results animation. Skipping the animation should no longer mean missing the gains. The notes also address incomplete teammate results, problems returning to the bar after a disconnect, and personal-save issues when switching from co-op back to solo play.
Run-blocking fixes include being unable to teleport back from Storm Breach faith rooms and movement remaining locked after continuing a game or a failed transition. These are fixes reported by Veewo, not bugs Game Pelt has independently reproduced and cleared.
PC players should revisit the display menu too. Graphics quality and frame-rate selection are now separate, with 60, 120 and uncapped options. Added 21:9 resolutions include 2560x1080, 3440x1440 and 3840x1600. More settings do not establish what frame rate your hardware will actually sustain.
For a group that bounced off Early Access because sessions or saves went wrong, try the updated Storm Breach mode and check that your progress records correctly afterward. The launch notes give you concrete changes to test, without proving every co-op problem is gone. Cross-platform matchmaking support is not established by this announcement, so check compatibility before asking friends on different systems to buy in.
