Once Human Feedback Update: Passenger Shooting and Controller Vibration
Once Human has accepted vehicle passenger shooting, controller vibration and backpack recycling changes while reworking Mod Guarantee progression.
Once Human is moving vehicle passenger shooting and controller vibration into development after both requests climbed its new Feedback Hot Charts. A third quality-of-life change, using the recycling tool directly from the backpack, is expected in October.
The announcements come from Meta Hotline Vol. 10, the first update tied to the voting system added to Once Human's Feedback Platform. Players can like or dislike requests, and Starry Studio says those results will help shape development priorities.
Passengers will be able to shoot from vehicles
The developer has accepted the request to let passengers fire while riding Two-Wheelers. It agrees that the current restriction limits combat coordination during group travel and says the feature's schedule has been moved forward significantly.
There is no release date yet. The feature is in planning and development, so do not read this as a promise for the next patch.
Controller vibration has also been accepted. The current plan covers weapons, melee attacks and vehicle operation, with more details due as development continues.
Backpack recycling is targeting October
Using the recycling tool directly from the backpack has the clearest window of the accepted requests. Starry Studio expects it to arrive in October, although the exact date remains tied to a future version announcement.
Animal breeding cooldowns can already be checked after summoning an animal through its Detail Panel. The team has also approved showing the cooldown directly from the backpack and says that work is being advanced.
Mod Guarantee is getting a broader rethink
Starry Studio considered a simple lock that would let players choose whether Mod Guarantee triggers. It rejected that interface fix because forgetting to switch the control could cause losses and add more complexity.
Instead, the studio plans to reduce ineffective stat components and Mod types, narrow numerical gaps between players and adjust final challenges. The Mod Guarantee change will arrive as part of that wider progression work, with timing still unconfirmed.
The weekly Starchrom cap remains under evaluation. The team says it will consider the request alongside the same stat-growth overhaul rather than commit to an immediate increase.
The official Once Human Meta Hotline Vol. 10 has the full status of all six charted requests.
