Outward 2's February PC launch is Early Access, and its questlines will not be finished. The current Steam FAQ describes three questlines with three available missions each, out of seven per questline planned for 1.0. Players who want to finish those stories in one playthrough should wait for the complete version.

Nine Dots' current content description also lists three fully playable open-world regions, another region that will improve during development, three starting scenarios and six trainers. These are the developer's published details, not content Game Pelt has tested.

The studio estimates 12 to 18 months to reach 1.0 and warns that development could take longer. Finished questlines, full voice-over, additional dungeons and more bosses are planned for the full release. There is no confirmed 1.0 date to put on your calendar.

The new launch announcement follows the earlier delay, but the exact February date needs clarification. Nine Dots' October 8 post names February 8 for PC Early Access. Steam currently displays February 7, 2027. The checked sources provide no exact unlock hour or explanation for the difference, so it is not evidence of another delay or a verified regional conversion.

The Steam FAQ says Early Access will cost less than the later version. No specific price was verified here, and the date announcement makes no promise about carrying saves over from earlier tests.

Check the official Steam page for current availability and content: Outward 2 on Steam . If you want to help shape the game, revisit those details before buying. If completing its stories is the priority, wait for 1.0 rather than treating February as the finished adventure.
