Path of Exile 2 is now Steam Deck Verified. Grinding Gear Games confirmed the handheld compatibility status in its September 24 Steam Deck announcement.

Playing during Early Access still requires a key. The developer also reiterates that the game becomes free to play on December 11 PST, with the Duelist available then. Steam Deck verification does not make the current Early Access release free.

The announcement gives no frame-rate results, recommended graphics settings or battery-life figures. If you already have access, you can try the verified version now. If you are considering buying a key specifically for handheld play, check current Deck testing before assuming the badge guarantees your preferred performance.
