SULFUR multiplayer has no announced release date and will not be included in the October 28, 2026 version 1.0 launch. If playing with friends is essential, wait for a separate announcement before buying for that feature.

Perfect Random's October 8 Steam post explicitly rules out a surprise multiplayer release alongside 1.0. The developer plans to work on multiplayer as a later post-release update, but gives no month, year or beta window. The plan is not a launch commitment.

That announcement also leaves player counts, supported multiplayer platforms and cross-play unspecified. The platforms receiving the single-player release do not establish which will support a future multiplayer mode.

The same post mentions 2027 while discussing possible DLC if the community remains active. It does not give multiplayer a 2027 release window. The studio says it has no DLC announcement or promise yet, so neither plan should be treated as a dated product.

October 28 is instead focused on finishing the single-player release. Perfect Random lists complete progression, a quest log and the full combined enchantment system, including five new combined enchantments. It also plans balance, performance and quality-of-life improvements. The complete 1.0 patch notes are due on release day.

Veterans should not expect new areas with 1.0; the developer explicitly says those are not arriving yet. More firearms and other free additions are planned afterward, but that support plan supplies no multiplayer date either.

Check SULFUR on Steam for the current single-player offering. If multiplayer is the deciding factor, the next information to look for is a dated announcement with the supported modes and platforms. Until then, do not organize a multiplayer session around October 28.
