Best Buy Plans Late-Night Ocarina of Time Pickups
Pick up Ocarina of Time at participating US Best Buy stores from midnight ET on November 5. Limited Zelda anniversary hardware will also be on sale.
Best Buy is opening participating US stores for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's Switch 2 launch, with pickup starting at midnight Eastern on November 5. For players further west, that means collecting the game on the evening of November 4. The retailer also confirms limited Zelda 40th Anniversary consoles and Pro Controllers for sale during the event.
Launch-night pickup starts at the same time across US time zones
Best Buy lists midnight ET on Thursday, November 5. The corresponding local times are 11 p.m. CT, 10 p.m. MT and 9 p.m. PT on Wednesday, November 4. Its announcement also lists 8 p.m. Alaska Time and 6 p.m. Hawaii Time that evening.
This is a US store-pickup event, not a worldwide digital unlock announcement. Best Buy describes nearly all US stores as participating, but its event page says store hours may vary.
Check your store before changing a preorder
Use the Best Buy participating-store page to select your state and location. Confirm that branch's event details before arranging a trip.
If you already selected store pickup, Best Buy says you can collect the preorder during the late-night opening. If you chose shipping instead, sign into your My Best Buy account, open purchase history and modify the order to pickup where available. Check the updated order details rather than assuming a delivery preorder automatically qualifies.

Zelda hardware stock is limited, and the game is separate
Participating stores will have limited quantities of the Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 system and Pro Controller. Best Buy specifies no rainchecks, and neither hardware product includes the game. Copies of Ocarina of Time are also available while supplies last.
The event gives US fans another chance to buy the anniversary hardware, but it does not guarantee stock at a particular branch. Confirm the location, pickup arrangement and local opening time first. If you are going for the console or controller rather than a reserved game, availability is the part you still need to check.
