Woodo is now available on macOS through Steam, and existing Steam owners do not need to buy another copy. Tiny Monks Tales and Daedalic Entertainment announced the Mac release on October 15. The game is not free for everyone; the no-extra-cost download applies to people who already own it on Steam.

The platform release brings Woodo's wooden diorama puzzles to Mac players. You place objects into scenes that gradually fill with color and animation. Our Woodo review covers the game itself, separately from this Mac launch.

Steam lists Apple M1 as the minimum

The current minimum Mac requirements are macOS Ventura 13, Apple M1 processor and graphics, 4 GB RAM and 2700 MB of available storage. The recommended setup is macOS Sequoia 15, Apple M3 and 8 GB RAM, with the same storage requirement.

Those specifications are not a performance benchmark. The announcement does not confirm Intel Mac compatibility or explain whether Windows saves transfer to the Mac version. Existing ownership should not be taken as proof of either.

Check the official Steam listing against your Mac before purchasing. If Woodo is already in your Steam library and your hardware meets the listed requirements, the Mac download is included. You do not need a separate Mac edition purchase.
