Sixteen Free Legacy Points for WoW Forever Beta Testers
All WoW Forever beta testers receive 16 Legacy Points for testing. The lowest Legacy talent reset cost is 1 silver, with beta-only limits.
WoW Forever's October 8 beta update grants all testers 16 Legacy Points through completion credit for the Legacy Challenge. You do not need to earn that pool first to test the system.
The build also reduces the lowest cost of resetting Legacy talent points to 1 silver. Both changes make experimentation easier, but they are beta testing measures, not a new launch giveaway.
The grant lets you try Legacy choices now
If you were working through challenges just to compare Legacy options, check your available points before continuing. Blizzard has supplied the 16-point allowance so beta players can test the system.
That does not identify the best selection for your class. Use it to compare choices relevant to the character and activities you actually play, rather than assuming a popular setup is automatically right for you.
Check the price before resetting again
The 1-silver figure is the lowest reset cost, not a promise that every immediate change costs the same amount. Blizzard says the cost decreases by one reset per hour, similarly to the beta's class talent-reset arrangement.
Read the displayed charge before confirming another reset. For a useful comparison, change one part of your setup and repeat a similar activity. Changing perks, equipment and the content all at once makes it harder to tell what helped.
These are not launch progression rules
The free grant does not announce 16 starting Legacy Points for new launch characters. Blizzard also explicitly limits the discounted reset arrangement to beta.
Use the allowance to learn which current choices suit your play. Keep launch planning based on the release rules, and do not spend another session earning points solely to test a pool the beta has already granted.
