Blizzard has opened up two more World of Warcraft: Forever class redesigns. Hunters are getting stronger choices between pet and petless builds, while Druids will carry more item effects and utility through their shapeshifted forms.

Both classes use Forever's revised talent structure, which keeps the familiar milestone rows at 11, 21 and 31 points while adding another major choice at 16 points. Dual Specialization remains planned for level 40.

Hunters can commit to a pet or go alone

Aimed Shot becomes a baseline Hunter ability at level 20. Traps can be used during combat, and frost and fire traps move onto separate 30-second cooldowns, giving the class more control without forcing every build down the same talent path.

Pets will scale with Hunter gear and receive clearer family identities through unique abilities. Foxes are also being introduced as a new pet family.

Marksmanship offers the opposite direction through Lone Wolf. The new 11-point talent increases all Hunter attack damage by 20 percent while no pet is active. That creates a real early commitment between companion play and a petless ranged build rather than treating the pet as an automatic requirement.

Druid forms keep more of the character's gear

Bear, Cat and Dire Bear melee damage will now be based on the DPS of the equipped weapon, with form-specific attack speeds. Weapon-damage abilities use those values too, making the weapon slot directly relevant while shapeshifted.

Druids can use more consumables, racial abilities, weapon enchants and triggered effects without leaving form, subject to Blizzard's listed exceptions. Nature's Grasp becomes baseline at level 10 and can be used indoors or while shapeshifted. Omen of Clarity also moves into the baseline kit.

The class gains Revive as an out-of-combat resurrection at level 12, while Lacerate becomes a baseline Bear ability at level 42. Those additions broaden Druid utility without requiring every player to spend talents on familiar tools.

Beta numbers can still move

These are detailed design plans, not a guarantee that every coefficient will survive testing unchanged. The broad direction is clearer than the final tuning: Hunters gain sharper pet choices and more flexible traps, while Druids lose fewer parts of their character sheet when they shapeshift.
