WoW Forever Orc and Troll Tuning Is Planned, but Not Final
Orc and Troll active abilities are under review, alongside weapon-related racials. Blizzard has not announced final replacements or new tuning values.
Blizzard is evaluating Orc and Troll active racial abilities in WoW Forever and considering whether weapon-related racials should remain or be replaced. There are no final replacement kits or new tuning values in the announcement, so this is a review to follow, not a completed nerf to plan around.
The discussion came in the October 8 developer update. The team raised the strength of Orc and Troll active abilities as a concern, while leaving the weapon-related question open.
What the review actually covers
There are two related areas under consideration: the strength of those active abilities, and the design of racial tools tied to weapons. The second question includes possible replacements rather than only smaller numbers on existing effects.
Neither part has a finished specification. Blizzard has not announced a new Orc or Troll percentage, a final duration, or the ability that would replace a weapon bonus. It would be inaccurate to turn that discussion into a list of confirmed removals.
It also does not establish a new best race for every class. That comparison needs the actual ability, the build using it and the content being played. An unfinished replacement cannot be ranked against a current kit as though both are settled.

The next beta timing is tentative
The developer pointed toward the following week's beta rather than the current week's update as the likely point when changes could start appearing. That is a provisional expectation, not a guaranteed date for a complete racial redesign.
The October 8 written beta notes do not list the proposed Orc/Troll tuning as implemented changes. Keep that distinction when reading the new build's other adjustments: a patch arriving does not mean every plan discussed that day was included.
For a character choice, wait for the revised kits before rerolling because of a predicted nerf. Compare what is available now if you need an immediate answer, and keep the beta date attached to the recommendation.
Game Pelt's Hunter race ranking is a PvE recommendation from the earlier beta snapshot, not a permanent launch verdict. We will need the actual new racial details before a meaningful reorder. The useful next step is to check those mechanics when they are published, not invent a winner while the design is still being evaluated.
