What Does WoW Forever’s September 24 Beta Build Change?
WoW Forever’s new beta build lowers talent resets to 1 silver after an hour, fixes a memory leak and opens Cooldown Manager testing for five classes.
WoW Forever’s September 24 beta build lowers talent-reset cost to 1 silver when an hour has passed since your last reset. Immediate subsequent resets cost much more. Blizzard’s September 24 beta notes make clear that this discount is temporary for beta testing.
The build also fixes a memory leak causing gradual performance degradation, Mac water-display problems and other Mac visual artifacts. Those are specific repairs, not a claim that every performance issue is gone.
Cooldown Manager testing opens for five classes
Druid, Mage, Priest, Warrior and Warlock can now test the feature. It is disabled by default; enable it in Options under Gameplay Enhancement.
Spell ranks are not yet supported. Blizzard particularly wants feedback about spells players would like tracked by default.

Class tuning and quest repairs affect leveling
Wrath’s base damage increases by approximately 50%, while Furious Howl’s Attack Power bonus falls by 40%. Holy Paladin Holy Strike’s cooldown drops to 10 seconds from 12, with the related cooldown-reduction talent removed.
Players can now cast, craft and buff while waiting for Campfire buffs. The build repairs surname handling in mail, corrects a handful of weapons that were not consuming ammunition properly, and fixes several missing quest-credit cases, including Skyborne objectives.
Party transfers and tracking gaps remain unresolved
Creating or changing a party may still move players to another world instance. The notes also list missing cooldown tracking, Stormwind minimap problems and absent combo points in Personal Resource Display.
Update before retesting a repaired problem, and include the exact class, spell and circumstances in further reports. The new tools are available for testing; they are not finished.
