Borderlands 4 is moving its Kairos roundup out of the weekly grind and into a monthly briefing. That is the useful part for anyone tired of chasing scattered update notes, reward posts, and DLC reminders like a loot drop that rolled under the couch.

The first This Month on Kairos also confirms the Loveless Tough Love payoff: the Mint Chipset Vault Hunter Skin has a live SHiFT code. If you own Loveless, this is the easy cleanup job. Redeem the code, bank the cosmetic, and move on before the next monthly roundup starts stacking more stuff on the pile.

The Loveless code is the immediate pickup

The confirmed code is 3SX3J-3XZ55-CR33C-JBBJT-XH395.

It unlocks the Mint Chipset Vault Hunter Skin for Loveless the Hacker. The catch is simple: the code is redeemable by all players, but you need the Loveless the Hacker DLC to actually equip the skin on Loveless.

The official post says the code can be redeemed once per SHiFT account and must be redeemed by December 31, 2030. That is a generous window, but this is still the kind of thing worth claiming now. Future you has enough inventory chores already.

Kairos updates should be easier to track now

2K says This Week on Kairos is becoming This Month on Kairos, with the goal of putting the month’s updates in one place. That does not mean weekly activity rotations vanish. The October 1 weekly activities were still called out separately, and the roundup points players back to the update notes hub.

The practical read is better organization, not a promise that every Borderlands 4 update now waits for one giant monthly drop. Weekly bosses, wildcard missions, Maurice’s Black Market machine, support notes, and reward reminders can still move on their own schedule. The monthly post is the digest you check when you want the wider picture without spelunking through every announcement.

Loveless is still paid DLC

The reward is tied to a character that is not part of the base roster. Loveless arrived with Version 1.10 on September 10 alongside Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort and Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows.

The roundup repeats the important access note: Loveless can be bought individually, comes in the Vault Hunter Pack, and is included with the Super Deluxe Edition. If you only want the skin for later, claim the code. If you want to equip it today, check your DLC access before you start blaming SHiFT for doing SHiFT things.

The move before the next roundup

Claim the Mint Chipset code if there is any chance you will play Loveless. Then treat This Month on Kairos as the new checkpoint for Borderlands 4’s bigger monthly recap.

For players who already followed the Tough Love challenge, this is the confirmation pass. For everyone else, the short version is simple: the community cleared the kill target, the skin code is live, and the update feed is getting a little less messy. That is a rare clean extraction from live-service housekeeping. Take it.
