Bungie is starting work to bring vaulted campaigns, destinations and raids back to Destiny 2. The September 21 studio statement says the restored content will be available to all Destiny 2 players, but gives no individual content list or release date.

The studio acknowledges the lasting impact of removing those experiences. It also points to the player response when Monuments of Triumph was described as Destiny 2's final content update.

Older content needs updates for today's game

Bungie says changes made since Beyond Light require work on lighting, encounters, combatants and underlying systems. Restoring the content involves more than putting old files back into the game.

More details are promised in the coming months. No patch number or platform-specific rollout schedule is announced, and the statement does not make those activities playable today.

If a missing campaign or raid is your reason to return, wait for Bungie to name it and confirm its release date before reinstalling specifically for it.
