Dune: Awakening's Filmic Archive DLC is out with 73 Sardaukar building pieces and 17 decorations. Funcom's September 22 announcement confirms the cosmetic pack for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The US Steam listing prices it at $9.99 and requires the base game.

The collection draws on Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two. Named outfits include the Caladan Stormcoat, Atreides Hoplite Armor, Harkonnen Cataphract Armor and Longhaul Stillsuit. The Stormcoat takes its inspiration from the coat worn by Duke Leto and Paul in the first film.

Steam also lists Sardaukar Legionnaire and Velites armor, an Averruncus Stillsuit, the Oathblade, the Benediction Disruptor, a tactical swatch and two emotes: Sardaukar Kneel and Sardaukar Blood Wipe. Funcom describes the pack as cosmetic, so the reason to buy is its appearance and building theme.

Keep this purchase separate from the game's recent update. The full single-player mode, gameplay customization and Book One story conclusion were introduced through that update; Filmic Archive is the paid collection of film-inspired looks. You do not need this DLC just to try the new solo mode.

Look through the official gallery before spending the money. If these outfits or the Sardaukar construction set fit a character or base you want to make, the pack has a clear use. Otherwise, skip it and try the updated base game first.
