Fellowship Will Reset Progress October 22 Before Its 1.0 Launch
Fellowship resets progression October 22 to test three matchmaking pools, new gearing rules and a planned dungeon. The update is not version 1.0.
Fellowship will reset progression on October 22, ending Early Access Season 3 and starting a major systems test. This is not the 1.0 launch. Chief Rebel laid out the plan in its October 2 Campfire Checkpoint, with another reset expected in late November or early December.
That matters if you are returning to gear a hero or waiting for a permanent progression format. The next update is intended to test changes, collect feedback and adjust them before full release. The developer has not given a 1.0 date in this announcement.
Three queues replace the introductory League ladder
Chief Rebel plans to consolidate the journey toward Eternal into Easy, Medium and Hard matchmaking pools. It says the current Season 3 structure divides that part of the game into roughly sixteen pools, making matches harder to fill for late arrivals and alternate heroes.
Easy is intended to make coordination mistakes less punishing. Medium introduces more of the full mechanics, while Hard keeps the demanding dungeon experience and is intended to gear experienced players faster. Difficulty unlocks are planned to be account-wide.
Fewer pools are a proposed solution to fragmented matchmaking, not proof that waiting times have improved. The experiment has not launched yet.

Loot follows equipped item level during the test
Introductory dungeon rewards will be tested against your equipped item level. Bad-luck protection is intended to direct guaranteed upgrades toward lower-level slots rather than repeatedly improving gear that is already ahead.
Enemies in that pre-Eternal experience will scale individually against each player. Chief Rebel explicitly says this does not apply to Eternal. Endgame remains separate, with the team targeting a compressed curve of roughly thirty-two difficulty levels.
Exact gear and dungeon-completion requirements for unlocking Eternal are still being worked out. Do not build a progression plan around an unannounced threshold.
Crown of the Wild joins the planned rotation
The new nature-themed dungeon, currently called Crown of the Wild, is planned as a regular Adventure Dungeon rather than a Capstone. The developer is targeting eight Adventure Dungeons and two Capstones in the active reset pool, but says the details are still in development.
Our earlier overtime-loot coverage explains the live reward rules; those should not be confused with this upcoming test. Check Fellowship on Steam for the current game and watch the official developer recap for context.
Before October 22, look for the final patch notes and the precise reset rules. This recap confirms a progression reset, but does not provide a complete inventory of what carries over. Treat the next phase as testing, not a promise of finished 1.0 systems.
