The Coalition is investigating reports that some Gears of War: E-Day Collector’s Edition statues arrived with damaged components. The studio says the problem affects a small portion of customers, but it has not yet announced a replacement program or another long-term fix.

Affected buyers should contact the retailer that handled their order and submit a support request. That is the current route for documenting the damage while the investigation continues.

Who to contact about a damaged statue

Customers in North America, the rest of the Americas, the UK and the EU are being directed to DPI support. Buyers in Australia and New Zealand should contact JB Hi-Fi or EB Games, depending on where they placed the order.

Keep the packaging, order details and clear photos of every damaged component while the case is open. The official notice does not promise an automatic replacement, refund or shipping timeline, so do not throw anything away until the retailer responds.

The next step has not been decided

The Coalition says its teams are still working out what comes next. That leaves the final remedy unconfirmed for now, including whether damaged pieces will be replaced separately or whether complete statues will need to be returned.

The Collector’s Edition includes a Marcus Fenix and Locust drone statue alongside a steelbook, COG tags and other physical items. Anyone opening one should inspect the statue before discarding its shipping materials.

The official Collector’s Edition support notice contains the regional support links and will be the best place to check for any updated instructions.
