GamesBeat reports that Grand Theft Auto VI is planned to reach PC in the first quarter of 2027. Its October 13 story cites four anonymous industry sources familiar with Rockstar's plans. Rockstar did not respond to the outlet before publication.

That puts January through March in view, but it is not a confirmed release window. GamesBeat's reporting concerns a native PC edition, not a way to stream the console game onto a computer.

Rockstar still lists only the console launch

The official GTA VI page continues to name November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It does not list PC. A reported development plan and a public launch commitment are different things.

For players deciding whether to buy a console specifically for GTA VI, this is a reason to watch for a PC announcement before spending. It is not a reason to buy an upgrade around assumed requirements. The report supplies no exact day, PC specifications or confirmed storefront.

Our earlier cloud-streaming coverage explains why streaming claims should not be confused with a native port. Check Rockstar's GTA VI page for the actual platform list.

The new reporting is worth following. Keep any purchase decision separate from the Q1 claim until Rockstar confirms a PC version and its timing.
