Last Epoch Removes Trading Rank Gates and Prophecy Rerolls
October 1 removes Merchant’s Guild purchase-rank gates and Circle of Fortune rerolls. Sellers gain automatic discounts; Prophecies charge toward chosen rewards.
Buying items through Last Epoch's Merchant's Guild will no longer require climbing its purchase ranks in Season 5. Circle of Fortune players will also stop rerolling Prophecies and choose rewards directly. Eleventh Hour Games' September 22 faction reveal schedules both changes for October 1 on PC.
Trading ranks unlock supplies instead
Merchant's Guild ranks will open access to bags containing keys, shards, glyphs and runes, bought with favor and gold. Rarer contents cost more. The removal of purchase-rank gates does not establish that every other trading requirement is disappearing.
The Bazaar combines searching and listing in one interface. Selecting an item to sell applies filters for similar items, and players can switch stalls through the menu. A new T6-count filter helps find exalted crafting bases; the T7-count filter will ignore sealed affixes.
Set a minimum before automatic price cuts
The listing screen will suggest prices from actual sales of items with similar key attributes, including Legendary Potential or exalted affixes. Sellers can still enter their own gold value.
Sellers can choose automatic price reductions every hour, day or week. Each listing stops dropping at a selected floor, reducing the need to return and relist an unsold item.
Check that floor before enabling the feature. A price you would accept eventually is the limit to set; the announcement gives no reason to expect automatic reductions to secure a better sale price.
Four Prophecy slots charge together
Circle of Fortune replaces rerolling with a chosen reward and one Lens per telescope. The four slots unlock at ranks 1, 3, 6 and 9. All unlocked Prophecies charge as favor is gained, allowing several reward targets to progress together.
A full charge is banked until the relevant objective is completed. The slots require defeating a Rift Beast or activating a Shrine; defeating a Nemesis or opening a Lost Cache; defeating an Exiled Mage or Timeline Boss; and defeating an Omen or Fateweaver, respectively. One objective completion can spend multiple stored charges for repeated rewards.
New reward choices include Rune of Havoc, Rune of Redemption, Experimental items, Harbinger bases and Champion items. Some rewards also upgrade as faction rank increases, such as rare items becoming exalted.
Lenses change charging and reward properties
Purchased Lenses unlock across the stash. Tyranny doubles charging speed by consuming extra favor. Origin and Finality increase prefix or suffix tiers, while Curiosity shifts Unique weighting away from common items toward rarer ones. It does not guarantee a particular Unique.

EHG says charge rates are tuned to produce similar item quantities at a steadier pace. That remains a developer target, not a Game Pelt test result. The reveal gives no numeric patch build or complete reward-rate table, so a faster or more profitable farming route cannot yet be established from it.
