Marvel's Wolverine update 1.001.006 adds separate on/off switches for three Senses effects on PS5. Insomniac announced the hotfix on September 25. Its official settings screenshot puts these options under Gameplay, in the Senses section:

  • Whisky Bottle Scent Trails
  • Material Crate Audio Clues
  • Nightmare Door Roots

Story-critical Senses will still appear. The screenshot also warns that equipping the Whisky Finder Adaptation overrides the whisky trail setting. Keep that exception in mind if trails remain visible after you change the switch.

The tree slide in The One That Got Away gets a fix

Insomniac's 1.001.006 patch notes also address a problem that could leave players stuck while sliding down a tree during this mission. Check that the update is installed before retrying the sequence.

The developer lists several crash fixes identified through logs and community reports. Visual repairs cover misaligned claws in Photo Mode, a rare issue that turned objects white after extended play, and an overlapping bathroom sign in the casino.

For players who wanted fewer Senses prompts, the practical change is three individual settings to adjust. The story clues remain available, and you can choose which of these other effects to keep.
