Mycopunk 1.0: Cryo Shots, Healing Plates and a Harder Moon
Mycopunk previews X11-B and weapon changes for 1.0, including cryo shots, plate-based healing and blood spending. The full release is planned for October 20.
Mycopunk's latest 1.0 preview details a tougher moonlet region and new or retuned weapon upgrades, including cryo shots, healing from deployed plates and a temporary damage boost paid for with blood stacks. The developer shared the details on October 18, ahead of the planned October 20 full release. These are upcoming changes, not a notice that 1.0 is already live.
X11-B is meant to challenge experienced players
The separate X11-B region is intended to challenge players who have spent Early Access improving their robots. The developer says its mechanics and appearance are meant to distinguish it from the existing regions. That is a design goal, not a tested difficulty verdict or confirmation of a particular entry requirement.
The moonlet has been discussed in earlier development posts. The new announcement adds a closer pre-launch explanation and specific upgrade changes, rather than revealing the destination for the first time.

Cryo, plate healing and blood spending change weapon choices
Subzero Energy, an Epic Cycler upgrade, makes bullets apply cryo while reducing firing rate. You gain the elemental effect at a cost to shooting speed; the preview does not supply a numerical firing-rate reduction.
Charging Port, an Epic Plate Launcher upgrade, provides intermittent healing while you stand on one of your plates. It is not described as a constant heal wherever you move. Plasma Arc, an Exotic Trident upgrade, fires a single plasma arc that damages a small area.
The Carver's Exotic Turkey's Bloodlust uses a deliberate spend: hold Reload to consume all blood stacks, gaining a temporary damage increase for each stack. You cannot gain blood while that effect is active. The announcement does not specify its duration or damage percentage.
Not every adjustment is simply an added benefit. Confident Queen increases the Accelerator's ammo capacity, but damage dealt with your other weapon no longer refills its magazine. Returning players should check that change before relying on the old refill behavior.
Turbocharges add more conditional bonuses
The Jackrabbit's Flamethrower Turbocharge increases its damage while you are ignited. Its All Powdered Up Turbocharge gives more damage while airborne the higher you are above the target. Those are different conditions, not a permanent increase that applies to every shot.
Other examples include Hearth & Home for the Incendiary Grenade, which speeds secondary-ability recharge near your last explosion, and Pressure Cooker for the Globbler, which adds one to magazine capacity. The Gunship Cannon's Tinderbox Turbocharge changes its element to shock or acid. The preview does not establish a strongest combination for X11-B.
More regions are being explored for post-release updates, but this announcement supplies no dates for them. For the confirmed launch schedule, use our PC and PS5 release-date coverage.
