Mycopunk will leave Steam Early Access on October 20, 2026. The PC version has been playable since July 2025, so this is its planned 1.0 transition, not the first chance to play it.

The cooperative shooter sends a crew of robots into missions against an alien fungal outbreak. Its weapons can be rebuilt through a grid of upgrades. The developer's current Steam description lists four characters, twelve weapons and nine missions; those are figures for the Early Access build, not a confirmed inventory of everything coming in 1.0.

There is also a PS5 version listed under Devolver Digital. Sony's US store page currently says 2026 but does not give a specific day. It supports a single player or up to four players online, with PS Plus required for online play. The pages checked do not confirm cross-platform multiplayer. If your group spans PC and PlayStation, wait for an explicit cross-play announcement before planning to play together.

For PC owners, October 20 is the date to check the final update and whether it addresses anything that kept you from the current build. For new PC buyers, the developer says it plans to raise the price at full release, but has not specified the increase. Judge the available version and its current price on their merits; the date alone does not tell you what the finished update contains.
