Kojima Productions has confirmed Bill Skarsgard as the lead actor in PHYSINT. The studio also released a new poster featuring Skarsgard and Charlee Fraser, but it did not announce a release window or show gameplay.

Skarsgard Leads The Cast

Skarsgard joins Fraser, Don Lee and Minami Hamabe in the announced ensemble. Hideo Kojima says costume fittings, scans and camera tests with Skarsgard and Fraser took place earlier in 2026.

The casting gives PHYSINT a recognizable protagonist. It does not tell players how the stealth, combat or mission structure will work.

Xbox Is Publishing PHYSINT

Kojima Productions also restated that Xbox is the project's publishing partner. The companies are already working together on OD - KNOCK, and PHYSINT extends that relationship to a second game.

The platform list remains incomplete. The announcement confirms Xbox's involvement but does not provide a release year, launch systems or store pages.

The Next Reveal Needs Gameplay

PHYSINT is described as an action-espionage game and the third original property from Kojima Productions. The cast and production work make the project more concrete, but every important player question remains open.

The next useful update needs to show playable systems. Until then, this is a strong casting announcement rather than evidence about the finished game.
