Satisfactory is getting its first paid expansion. Core Values moves factory construction beneath the surface of MASSAGE-2(A-B)b, where new production lines will depend on resources found inside the planet's crust.

Coffee Stain Studios calls this a major expansion rather than a small add-on. A release date has not been announced, so the reveal establishes the setting and scope without giving players a launch window.

A second factory network below the surface

Core Values introduces underground factory networks with their own buildings and production lines. The expansion's description also confirms new resources, flora and fauna, suggesting that subterranean construction will involve more than placing familiar machines in a darker biome.

The base loop remains recognisable: construct, automate, explore and exploit. What changes is the environment around that loop. Building underground could make space, routing and access more deliberate, especially if new materials must be processed before they can support the surface factory.

Coffee Stain has not yet detailed the complete building list, resource chain or wildlife roster. It has also not said how far existing saves will need to progress before players can enter the new areas.

What is confirmed, and what still is not

Core Values is paid DLC and requires the base game. Its Steam page currently lists Windows PC and marks the release date as "to be announced." Console links were mentioned in the reveal post but were not yet available, so platform timing beyond PC remains unconfirmed.

The expansion is also framed as a deeper look at Satisfactory's world. Its store description says players will uncover more about the planet as they descend, placing exploration and environmental discovery alongside the new production systems.
