Konami is preparing a performance patch for the Steam version of Silent Hill: Townfall, with no release date confirmed. Its September 24 Steam notice says the team is working on the update and will announce the date when it is ready to share.

The statement identifies Steam performance issues but does not name individual fixes, affected hardware, a build number or expected frame-rate improvements. It makes no corresponding patch commitment for PlayStation 5 or the Epic Games Store. This announcement confirms development work; it does not say the repairs are available.

If you are affected, watch the official Townfall website and Silent Hill social channels for the release notice, then check the patch notes for your particular issue. If performance concerns are holding up a purchase, wait for testing of the updated Steam build before deciding.
