What Does ARC Raiders 1.47.0 Fix for Controls and Crashes?

ARC Raiders update 1.47.0 fixes keyboard input that could stop responding after an unfocused launch or a return from the background. Embark's September 22 patch notes also address doors that look open while remaining closed. A download is required before returning to the game.

The keyboard fix has a limit worth checking: custom bindings resetting after each raid on layouts other than US English remain on the known-issues list. Updating does not mean that separate problem has been resolved.

On PS5, the update addresses a frequent physics-engine crash. An Xbox resource-conflict fix is included too, although Embark still lists ongoing work on Xbox Series X|S crashes. These are specific repair claims, not evidence that every stability problem is gone.

Inventory, lighting and skill-point changes

Inventory tooltips could retain data from previous screens, increasing memory use and affecting long sessions. The patch fixes that retention and improves stability when opening the inventory. Swapping or splitting items also stops putting them into incompatible containers, such as non-quick-use items entering the belt.

Buried City receives a lighting repair for areas that appeared overly dark or lacked illumination. Skill-point assignment now uses hold-to-assign by default. Check that changed input before spending points.

Embark also reports extending first-strike permanent bans and tightening shared-license restrictions against repeat cheaters. The announcement gives no measured reduction in cheating, so those enforcement claims still need to be judged by their results.

The Expedition Project button now shows when an expedition is paused after its cutoff and prevents further resource commitments. For Expedition 5, finish the project and sign up before September 29 at 08:00 UTC. There is no Last Call window; contact support if the departure screen will not confirm registration.
