Start with an exit, not a fantasy haul

A good ARC Raiders beginner route starts backwards. Pick the extraction you want to use, then choose a small loot path that naturally bends toward it. Do not spawn in and improvise a grand tour. That is how a decent run turns into a backpack full of junk and a corpse near the wrong elevator.

Use the safe pocket like insurance

The safe pocket is not for whatever you grabbed first. Save it for quest items, rare crafting pieces, or anything you specifically came topside to recover. If you fill it with low-value clutter, you are giving up the one system designed to soften a bad death.

Listen before you shoot

Machines are not just enemies. They are alarms, distractions, and route blockers. If a fight is not protecting an objective or an exit, walk around it. Gunfire invites attention from ARC and players, and new raiders usually lose more to noise than to bad aim.

Bring cheap gear until your route is steady

Use free or low-risk loadouts while learning zones, extraction timing, machine tells, and player traffic. The goal is to build map confidence without turning every mistake into a financial argument.

Inventory discipline wins raids

Pick a category for the run: quest materials, workshop upgrades, sellable valuables, or combat supplies. If you try to keep everything, you will carry too much, sort too slowly, and hesitate at the exact moment you should be leaving.

Leave when the run has already worked

The clean beginner extraction is not heroic. It is a short route, a useful pocketed item, two or three smart pickups, and a quiet exit. Once you have what you came for, leave. The extra room you wanted to check is where the lesson usually lives.
