Control Resonant PC players should not begin with the maximum preset. Current pre-release testing finds that lower settings preserve most of the intended image while producing useful performance gains. The official listing also requires 120GB of SSD space.

Remedy lists an RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6700 XT or Arc B580 in the recommended tier with 16GB of RAM. Requirements do not guarantee one exact frame rate at every setting. Begin with the preset matched to the hardware, disable path tracing, and measure busy combat before increasing image features.

Ray tracing is the last step

Reflections and indirect light can improve the game's distorted interiors and wet streets, but they are expensive during effects-heavy combat. Set resolution, upscaling and ordinary quality first. Add ray tracing only after the frame-rate target remains stable in a demanding area.

The game launches September 24, so drivers and day-one patches may change results. Pre-release testing is useful guidance, not a substitute for testing the final build on the actual PC. Use the storefront refund window rather than assuming a model number tells the whole story.
