Remedy is setting expectations before launch

Control Resonant is close enough that the technical messaging matters now. Remedy has started detailing how the game will handle PS5 and PS5 Pro graphics options, which is exactly the kind of pre-launch clarity players need for a weird, effects-heavy action RPG.

The choice sounds familiar, but useful

The short version is the usual modern console fork: smoother performance on one side, heavier visual features on the other. That can sound boring until you remember what Control is. Particle noise, impossible architecture, reflections, lighting, and destruction are not decorative in a Remedy game. They are part of the mood.

If the 60fps mode holds up, most players should start there. Control's combat always lived on snap reactions, quick positioning, and reading chaos before it turns into soup. Better visuals are nice, but smooth control is the name on the box for a reason.

Game Pelt read

This is not the loudest news beat, but it is the practical one. Remedy games can look incredible and run weird when pushed too hard, so getting console mode details before launch is a good sign. Now the question is whether Resonant can keep the surreal spectacle without burying the fight under effects.
