Blizzard has temporarily disabled Dominance, the Fiend of Abaddon upgrade used by Diablo IV’s Warlock. The September 18 notice identifies unintended damage scaling as the reason and gives no return date.

  • Look at the guide’s upgrade choices before copying its gear priorities.
  • Use a setup that works without Dominance while the restriction remains in place.
  • Check Blizzard’s status thread for confirmation that the upgrade has returned.

A recently published guide can still rely on the disabled effect. Its damage demonstration does not establish what that setup delivers now. Blizzard has announced an intervention affecting this upgrade, not a general shutdown of the Warlock class.

The PSA appeared during the current 3.2.1 season period, but does not specify a separate client build, platform exceptions or different rules for Seasonal and Eternal characters. Its placement in PC General Discussion is not enough to establish a PC-only restriction.

Blizzard says it will update the thread when Dominance is available again. Until then, the useful choice is a build that does not depend on it; any prediction of the repaired upgrade’s damage remains unconfirmed.
