The bonus weapons are tied to campaign progress

The support note does not list each weapon, its stats or the exact chapter requirements. That keeps the practical advice simple: install the update before starting, then check Dagsion and other story hubs as new sections of the campaign open.

Existing save data remains available after updating. Nintendo also says the patch fixes various issues, but it does not identify the affected quests, battles or interface systems. Any more specific claim about what was repaired would be guesswork.

Nintendo Switch 2 normally downloads the update automatically while connected to the internet. Players can verify the installed version by highlighting the game on the HOME Menu, pressing the Plus or Minus button, and checking the number shown under the software title.
