No Man's Sky 7.06 Fixes Corvette Transfer Bugs and GPU Crashes
No Man's Sky Cosmos 7.06 is a small patch, but it targets busted corvette transfers, Nvidia GPU crashes, PS5 loading crashes, and spacewalk controls.
No Man's Sky Cosmos 7.06 is not a big feature patch. It is cleanup, but it is cleanup aimed at the kind of bugs that can make a good save feel cursed.
Hello Games says the patch is live on Steam now and will come to other platforms as soon as possible. The practical read is simple: PC players get the first pass, and console players should wait for the same fixes to roll out before assuming their version is still being ignored.
The Corvette Fix Is the Big One
The strangest fix is for a rare save-transfer problem. Hello Games says players who moved a corvette from an expedition save to their main save and then immediately redeemed an expedition reward ship could end up with a ship collection full of broken Radiant Pillars.
That is not a normal visual bug. That is the sort of thing that makes players hesitate before touching expedition rewards at all. The good news is that Hello Games says affected saves will have the broken ships cleaned up automatically.
Crashes and Spacewalks Also Get Attention
The patch also fixes a PC crash on some Nvidia GPUs and a rare PS5 crash that could happen on a loading screen. Those are boring patch notes until they hit your machine, then they are the entire game.
Spacewalking gets two smaller but useful fixes. Rolling while space walking should no longer yank the camera facing around, and Gravitino Coil targeting should behave better when players collect objects from hulks.
What Players Should Do Now
If you play on Steam, update before moving expedition ships or redeeming reward ships. If you were hit by the broken Radiant Pillar issue, check the affected save after patching instead of trying to manually brute-force your ship list back into shape.
If you are on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, or Game Pass, watch for the platform rollout before testing the same fixes. Hello Games has not given a separate date in the 7.06 note, so do not treat Steam availability as proof that every platform is already patched.
