No Man’s Sky Tests Colossus Fixes—Stable Rollout Remains Undated
The September 24 experimental notes target Colossus cargo, PS5 memory and Switch/PSVR visuals. They do not confirm a stable console rollout.
No Man’s Sky is testing fixes for planetary scrap slipping out of the Colossus Flatbed and loose junk falling through terrain after leaving the vehicle. Hello Games added the changes in two September 24 batches to its experimental branch thread.
These are experimental notes. They do not confirm that a stable console update has shipped.

PS5 memory and Switch and PSVR visuals are also listed
The new entries include a significant PS5 memory optimization, missing vignettes and scanlines on Switch, and PSVR1/2 rendering errors affecting refraction, ship decals and underwater scenes.
Other fixes address a misplaced Home in the Stars mission marker, derelict freighters sharing a name within a region, the gravitino coil failing to holster, and crashes involving networking or physics.
Steam players can opt into the test through the game’s Betas settings using the code in Hello Games’ instructions. Back up your saves first. If returning to the main branch, the developer recommends restoring a main-branch backup rather than carrying an experimental save back.
Players waiting for the regular update still need a stable release announcement.
