No Man's Sky Cosmos patch 7.03 fixes a progression problem that prevented some players from placing exterior parts on space stations. It also addresses seven named crash causes and several rendering problems.

Station construction has a recovery path

The recovery fix matters more than the decorative additions. Players whose station build could not continue should load the save on 7.03 before trying to rebuild or remove existing work.

The patch targets broad stability problems

Hello Games lists crashes connected to ship summoning, inventory rendering, enemy ships, ragdolls, geometry streaming, physics-item memory management and support-frigate summoning. Texture compression, texture-shader performance and DLSS Frame Generation also received fixes or improvements.

Smaller Cosmos fixes

The update improves alliance interface legibility, corrects space-hulk level-of-detail problems, adjusts asteroid-mining trader behavior and fixes smaller mission and base-placement issues. Marine Shelters can again be placed on planetary bases.

Players affected by station construction or recurring crashes should update immediately. Everyone else can treat 7.03 as a stability pass that makes the larger Cosmos systems safer to use.
