No Man's Sky Tests Beacon and Disappearing-Discovery Fixes
The September 23 No Man’s Sky experimental branch targets blocked Beacon milestones, disappearing discoveries and several base-building problems.
No Man’s Sky is testing a fix for the Beacon expedition milestone becoming blocked after a building is upgraded manually. Hello Games’ September 23 experimental notes also target discoveries disappearing or reverting to an undiscovered state.
The same test build addresses inaccessible underwater ruins, settlement buildings failing to appear correctly, and derelict freighters not registering as completed. Space-base repairs cover solar panels, powered objects, moving the Deep-Space Base Computer and rotating parts while snapping. A new reset option frees station-base parts for use elsewhere.

These are experimental changes, with no stable-release date or console rollout announced in this post. Hello Games warns that testing builds can introduce other problems. The list does not establish that every affected save is repaired.
Back up your save before opting in through Steam’s Betas menu. If you return to the main branch, Hello Games recommends resuming a main-branch backup instead of carrying an experimental save back. Players who prefer to avoid that testing risk should wait for the regular patch.
