Once Human Ocean Gear and Protection
What to pack for oxygen, contamination, Time Rain, Black Tide and temperature, plus the repair and production tools that support another voyage.
Contamination and temperatureDiving suits and Fish Oil Paste
Basic Diving Suit starts your ocean protection; Shark Diving Suit improves it and adds swimming speed.Click to collapse
Choose protection before depth
The Basic Diving Suit provides basic ocean-contamination resistance. The Shark Diving Suit is a later unlock with stronger protection and increased swimming speed. Fish Oil Paste adds temperature resistance and temporary isolation from water contamination.
What it does not replace
Protection is not an oxygen reserve or a guarantee against every enemy. Before diving, compare the destination's conditions with your equipped protection and consumables. Use the live Tech and crafting panels for unlock prerequisites and quantities; no universal crafting cost is assumed here.
Stay underwater, ascend, then recoverOxygen Tank, Inflatable Float and Air Cushion
These three tools do different jobs. An emergency ascent is not another oxygen refill.Click to collapse
Know which item you need
- Pack an Oxygen Tank for replenishment: it activates automatically when oxygen runs out.
- Keep an Inflatable Float ready for a rapid ascent if you need to leave the dive.
- Use an Air Cushion for a temporary foothold on the water's surface, not as a permanent dock.
Plan the return before looting
Do not treat the tank as permission to stay indefinitely. Check your oxygen reserve and return route while you can still make a deliberate choice. The launch notes do not establish a universal safe depth or travel time for this loadout.
Haywire ZonesMist of Deceit and Black Tide protection
Take the zone-specific tool; cold resistance and slowing Sanity loss are not interchangeable.Click to collapse
Mist of Deceit
Mist Core Clarity Soup supplies cold resistance and the ability to see through the mist. An activated Blaze Core Lantern raises temperature and disperses that mist while consuming durability. Plan for the lantern's wear rather than expecting one activation to last forever.
Black Tide
An activated Black Tide Protective Mask slows Sanity loss in Black Tide areas and consumes durability. It slows the loss; that is not a promise of immunity. Inspect its condition before extending the expedition.
Before crossing a boundary
Identify the actual Haywire Zone you are entering, then bring its protection and food. If a tool is doing the wrong job, adding more of it will not substitute for the appropriate effect.
A different environmental kitTime Rain and temperature supplies
Time-Reverse protection answers rain effects; Cooling Patch and All-Weather Stew answer heat or cold.Click to collapse
Time Rain
Time-Reverse Cookies provide temporary immunity to Time Rain's body effects, helping prevent rapid Energy and Hydration loss. The Time-Reverse Raincoat provides that protection while worn, at the cost of some movement speed and ongoing durability consumption.
Heat and cold
An activated Cooling Patch removes Heatstroke and lowers body temperature while consuming durability. All-Weather Stew increases both cold and heat resistance. These are temperature tools, not substitutes for oxygen or a Black Tide mask.
Avoid an unsupported recipe
Use the exact item name in the current Tech and crafting screens to check its inputs. This reference identifies what each tool counters; it does not invent ingredient counts or buff durations absent from the verified launch information.
Between voyagesRepair equipment and ship production
Repair your mobile base, then decide whether fishing, resource production or stronger weapons are the next bottleneck.Click to collapse
Restore the ship before the next fight
The Time-Reverse Welding Torch restores building and facility durability. The activated territory repair facility repairs damaged structures and facilities over time. Check damage and repair resources before another encounter rather than treating the ship's last successful voyage as a condition check.
Put ocean supplies to work
A Trawl Net can catch fish while sailing; an Advanced Trawl improves the haul and can salvage surface supplies. Tidal Cages breed fish in the water, with a shorter cycle on the advanced version. These support different supply loops, not a single verified fastest farm.
Gear does not bypass Tech
Ship cannons and other options unlock as Tech progresses. Pick the next system for the problem you have: food supply, travel, repairs or combat. Owning late-game personal blueprints does not automatically complete that progression.
Sources and version notes
Checked October 24, 2026 against the official launch announcement and subsequent fixes. These pages cover the PvE Isles of Abyss scenario unless a card explicitly says RaidZone. They do not apply automatically to Manibus, other scenarios or custom servers. The older October 16 preview listed a different permanent-server date; the newer October 20/21 notices take precedence. Numeric crafting costs, transfer allowances and precise Tech unlock levels are omitted where not verified. Artwork is official Starry Studio / NetEase scenario imagery, not Game Pelt gameplay. Recommendations are research-based, not a tested build or drop-rate ranking.
