Keep your current scenario or settle that character

If you want to keep playing your current scenario

The official entry notice offers a new-character route. After character creation and handling the New Player Experience, open Scenario Selection, choose Other Scenarios and select an Isles of Abyss server. This avoids ending the current character's scenario just to try the ocean.

If your existing character is ready to move

  1. Confirm that the character's scenario has entered the Rest Period and its sign-up system is enabled.
  2. Open Menu, then Scenario, then Go to Sign Up.
  3. Select the intended Isles of Abyss server and read the settlement confirmation before accepting. This is a scenario restart for supplies and progression, not a world hop carrying the entire backpack unchanged.
Shared unlocks vs. scenario data

Separate shared unlocks from supplies

Cosmetics, Blueprint Level and Mod Level remain shared; that does not mean every item arrives equipped.Click for more detailsClick to collapse

What the current entry notice confirms

Transferring settles the character's level, supplies and other scenario data. Shared data such as Character Cosmetics, Blueprint Level and Mod Level are not cleared by that settlement. Separately, Isles of Abyss starts its characters at maximum level, so an old level-1 leveling route is not the right guide here.

Before spending on imports

Inspect the new scenario's actual inheritance interface for item eligibility and cost. Community suggestions about drills, Deviations and a fixed points allowance are not a verified universal shopping list for every mode or server. Do not assume a permanent-server reset policy is the allowance for a new seasonal scenario.

When shared equipment looks weaker

Craftable rarity and active Mod attributes are still limited by Isles of Abyss Tech. Check that gate before deciding that shared progression has disappeared.

Scenario Squads and invitation codes

Get friends onto the same server

Agree on the full server name. A Scenario Squad has eligibility conditions; a Hive is not the same thing.Click for more detailsClick to collapse

Use a Scenario Squad when eligible

  1. Use Menu, Scenario and the sign-up interface to reach the team-up platform. Sign-up must be enabled for the character.
  2. Check for an existing permanent-server merge reservation; the entry notice lists it as a blocker to joining a Scenario Squad.
  3. Each character can join only one Scenario Squad. Have the leader select the agreed server when signing up, rather than each friend choosing a similar name separately.

If the server is full

A friend already on that Isles of Abyss server can find a Special Invitation Code under Player Info, then Special Invitation Code. Check the code and the server together. The official launch notice gives this as the full-server route; a code is not a guarantee that unrelated account or platform restrictions disappear.

If a permanent-server character cannot join the squad

The October 20 notice describes leaving the Hive and trying again as a workaround for a known issue. That is a specific troubleshooting step, not a requirement to abandon a Hive for every transfer. Recheck newer fixes before changing membership.

Permanent servers and mode limits

Do not confuse a planned merge with RaidZone's cycle

A PvE permanent server is expected on November 18 PT in the newer notices; that is a plan, not a confirmed opening.Click for more detailsClick to collapse

Which permanent-server date to use

The October 16 preview said November 12. The newer October 20 schedule and October 21 launch notice instead say November 18, 2026 PT, expected before the first batch closes. Use the later notice, and verify the live server list when making a transfer decision. This page does not claim that future opening has happened.

RaidZone is a separate decision

The RaidZone ocean server schedule lists a biweekly reopen cycle. Console-prefixed RaidZone servers are console-only. Neither detail changes the PvE scenario into the same server model.

What a saved ship does not promise

The published RaidZone ship recovery guide explains saving a design and the loss of supplies aboard a sunk ship. Keep that warning labeled RaidZone rather than copying its loss rules onto every PvE activity.

Sources and version notes

Checked October 24, 2026 against the official launch announcement and subsequent fixes. These pages cover the PvE Isles of Abyss scenario unless a card explicitly says RaidZone. They do not apply automatically to Manibus, other scenarios or custom servers. The older October 16 preview listed a different permanent-server date; the newer October 20/21 notices take precedence. Numeric crafting costs, transfer allowances and precise Tech unlock levels are omitted where not verified. Artwork is official Starry Studio / NetEase scenario imagery, not Game Pelt gameplay. Recommendations are research-based, not a tested build or drop-rate ranking.
