What Does The Rev3.1783 Professional Ship Simulator Demo Include?
Professional Ship Simulator’s rebuilt demo adds the current Rev3.1783 improvements, nine languages, better AI traffic and a 30-minute open-world session limit.
Professional Ship Simulator’s demo has been rebuilt around the current Rev3.1783 development state. The update adds better ships, harbors, AI traffic, tutorials, navigation tools, controls, audio, loading, performance and stability, plus support for nine languages.
There is one limit you should know before downloading: open-world demo sessions now last 30 minutes. That is enough time to handle a vessel, test the bridge, and see whether the simulator’s systems make sense, but it is not a replacement for the full Early Access loop.

The Demo Catches Up With Development
The old April demo no longer represented the build NauticXP is working toward. The new version brings it closer to Rev3.1783, with updated ship bridges, controls and onboard systems, improved harbor scenery and effects, better vessel traffic, and revised tutorials and missions.
The navigation layer also received attention. The update lists improvements to the map, AIS and radar systems, which are the tools that decide whether a ship feels manageable or like a floating argument with the interface.
Controls, Audio, And Language Support
Keyboard and gamepad controls have been improved, and the demo now supports nine languages. Ship, engine and environmental audio also received another pass. Those changes matter in a simulator because small interface friction compounds when you are already watching instruments, traffic and a route.
The update also calls out loading, performance and stability improvements. The announcement does not provide platform-specific performance numbers, so treat those as developer-reported changes rather than a benchmark result.

The 30-Minute Limit Changes The Test
A 30-minute open-world session is long enough to test the basics. Start with the tutorial, take one vessel out, check the bridge controls, and use the map, AIS and radar before chasing a long route. Do not burn the entire session in menus and then decide the game has no time to show itself.
The cap also means the demo is a first look, not a complete career test. Players who want persistent progression, longer voyages or the full vessel roster will still need the Early Access build.
The Practical Verdict
This is the demo to try if the earlier build felt too rough or too far behind the current game. The Rev3.1783 update gives players a more honest look at Professional Ship Simulator, while the session limit keeps the test focused. Start with the bridge, not the biggest voyage on the map.
