The useful difference is time
Konami's announcement describes 48-hour early access as the main immediate edition difference. It does not make the standard campaign smaller. Anyone with work, downloads or other releases already filling those two days loses little by waiting for September 24.
Early access is not review protection
The first public days may reveal PC performance, bugs and platform differences. Paying to enter before broad technical reporting means accepting more uncertainty. Horror depends on timing, audio and stable presentation, so a broken launch has a larger effect than a missing cosmetic.
Preload and exact unlock timing can vary by storefront and region. Check the purchase page attached to the account rather than converting a social post manually. The clear decision is simple: pay for the Deluxe extras if they have independent value, not only because the calendar says two days earlier.
