WARDOGS 0.1.2 Fixes the Windows 11 Crash and Closes XP Exploits
WARDOGS update 0.1.2 fixes the Windows 11 WD-L020 crash, closes several cash and XP exploits, and rebuilds the Deploy server flow.
WARDOGS update 0.1.2 is being deployed during maintenance beginning at 08:00 UTC on September 30. The one-hour window takes services offline while BULKHEAD rolls out a Windows 11 crash fix, shuts down several cash and XP exploits, and changes how players choose servers.
The patch directly addresses WD-L020 crashes caused by Windows 11 preview update KB5124010. Players who were locked out by that error should install 0.1.2 before trying the usual workarounds again.
Exploit leniency is over
Revive checks are now handled by the server, vehicle fly-through rewards are capped, and unfinished buildables no longer pay their full destruction reward. Depositing pallets into a FOB from outside its zone also gives reduced rewards.
BULKHEAD says accounts caught abusing cash or XP exploits have had their money and progression reset. Repeat abuse and real-money trading can now lead to a permanent ban without warning. In plain terms, testing a bug once and reporting it is one thing. Farming it is a good way to lose the account.
Deploy now separates server choices
The new Deploy screen splits the next choice between Official, Community, Infantry Mode and Low-Level servers. Advanced filters return for official servers, long server names can be viewed on hover, and the join flow now shows connection and queue status.
Gamepad support has also been added to the Deploy screen. Anonymous mode hides server names during loading and in the pause menu, while region selection shows how many regions are active.
Community server owners get scheduled daily restarts, tighter RCON access controls and safer configuration responses. The patch also adds general server security and stability work.
A few combat bugs are cleaned up
Grenades, smoke and C4 can no longer be thrown from enclosed vehicle seats. The adaptive crosshair now disappears correctly while aiming down sights, buildable critical spots should choose reachable positions more reliably, and a Havoc bug that increased damage from 20 mm and 30 mm cannons has been fixed.
This is still a maintenance patch rather than the promised content drop. BULKHEAD says Season 02 will bring new map conditions, equipment, balance reworks and more features, with further details due next week. The official Update 0.1.2 patch notes contain the complete server-admin and bug-fix list.
