AION 2 gives Halloween Pumpkin Coins from two places: the 14-day Trick or Treat attendance track and the ten weekly missions under Season Mission > Event. Attendance pays 620 coins if you claim all 14 days. The weekly missions pay 235 coins per server when you clear all ten.

The event runs until the scheduled November 3 maintenance in North America and November 4 maintenance in Europe. Across three weekly mission cycles, the maximum is 1,325 Pumpkin Coins: 620 from attendance and 705 from missions.

Claim the Trick or Treat attendance rewards

Open the in-game menu, choose Attendance, then open Trick or Treat. Claim the available reward instead of assuming a normal login collects it automatically.

Days 1 through 6 pay 35 Pumpkin Coins each. Day 7 pays 100. Days 8 through 13 return to 35 each, and Day 14 pays another 100. That adds up to 620 coins.

Attendance is the easy half of the event. It also covers the 250-coin Special Halloween Chest by itself, with plenty left over. Missing a claim is more painful than it looks because the event ends at maintenance, not at the end of a relaxed final calendar day.

Find the weekly missions under Season Mission

The other source is easy to miss because it is not inside the Attendance screen. Open Season Mission, select the Event tab, and look for the ten Halloween entries.

Five missions pay 25 coins each: hunt ten monsters in the Abyss, clear one Transcendence Dungeon, clear one Expedition Conquest, clear one Ascension Trial, and clear any Nightmare stage. Logging in three times pays 30 coins. Four more missions pay 20 each for obtaining one piece of Unique Gear, using five scrolls, participating in one Dimensional Invasion, and participating in one Shugo Festival.

Clear the full page and you earn 235 coins for that weekly reset. The limit is per server. Alts on the same server do not create another complete set of mission rewards.

If the Event tab is missing, make sure you opened Season Mission, not the regular Attendance page. Current player reports also say the Season Mission view may stay unavailable until level 45. NC's event notice lists the missions but does not state a separate event-tab unlock level, so check the live menu before assuming the event is broken.

Use this route to finish the missions faster

Start with Transcendence and Expedition. Both count toward the Pumpkin Coin missions and can also award Candy Key Fragments, so one activity advances both sides of the Halloween event.

Then clear Nightmare and Ascension Trial, followed by the Abyss monster requirement. Dimensional Invasion and Shugo Festival depend on their schedules, so check their availability before leaving them until the final session. The Unique Gear and scroll missions usually complete during normal progression, but confirm them in the Event tab instead of trusting memory.

You do not need to buy anything or use Candy Key Fragments to earn Pumpkin Coins. Those fragments are a separate event currency. Spending or morphing them will not increase the coin total shown for the Halloween merchant.

What to do when Pumpkin Coins do not appear

Some players report seeing a ten-coin reward message without the balance increasing. There is no confirmed universal fix in NC's event notice, so do not burn time repeating a mission that is limited to one completion per weekly reset.

First, reopen Season Mission > Event and confirm whether the mission is marked complete and claimed. Then check the Pumpkin Coin count at the event merchant and in your inventory, return to character select, and log back in. If the count still has not changed, capture the completed mission and current balance before contacting AION 2 support.

Treat this as a possible event bug rather than a hidden third currency. Pumpkin Coins and Candy Key Fragments have different jobs, but the game should still add a claimed Pumpkin Coin reward to the event balance.

Where to spend the coins

Elyos players can find Coin Merchants at Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village in Verteron. Asmodian merchants are at Safe Haven and Nornir Assembly in Altgard. The floating event decorations and player crowd usually make the merchant easier to spot than the map label.

NC's official Halloween event notice lists every mission, merchant location, price, limit, and removal date. Claim attendance, clear the Event tab before each reset, and check the balance before walking away. That is the whole coin route.

For the spending order, see Game Pelt's guide to what to buy first in the AION 2 Halloween shop.
