Battlefield 6 Season 5 begins October 13, 2026, but Server Browser and Platoons are scheduled for December 8. The new Siege of Vegas roadmap puts dates on the season. If either feature is your reason to return, plan around the December update.

The October launch brings Vegas Strip and Area 51, four weapons and Rapid Royale in REDSEC. It also removes Gauntlet. That gives returning squads a concrete choice: try the new maps next week, or wait for the server tools later in the season.

October 13 brings the maps and Rapid Royale

Vegas Strip mixes hotel interiors, casinos and streets. Area 51 splits the fight between surface vehicle combat and an underground facility. Both maps are scheduled for the start of Season 5.

Rapid Royale adds shorter Solos and Trios matches to REDSEC. The four launch weapons are the Mk 24 assault rifle, RSPR submachine gun, Z84M light machine gun and ELR-40 bolt-action sniper rifle. Their final place in a loadout will need testing after release; an announcement is not a reliable weapon ranking.

November 10 and December 8 are separate updates

Casino Heist is scheduled for November 10, with the European Casino infantry map arriving later in the season. Frozen Aces follows December 8 with Operation High Roller, Server Browser, Platoons and updates to Blackwell Fields and New Sobek City.

Those later features should not be treated as October launch content. The roadmap is a schedule, and EA says its live-service plans can change.

Gauntlet players have until October 13

Gauntlet leaves with Season 5. Play it before that date if it is still part of your squad's rotation. The announced departure does not establish whether it will ever return.

Check the final update notes before rebuilding a loadout around the season. The roadmap confirms the content schedule; it does not supply a download size, exact deployment hour or a complete set of balance changes.
