Before your first Isles of Abyss voyage, check the mode, the next Tech unlock and the hazards at your destination. Once Human's ocean scenario starts characters at maximum level, but it does not start them with every crafting option or all the supplies needed for deep water.

These are five departure checks for PvE Isles of Abyss under the 3.1.1 launch rules. They are not a ranked gear list, and they do not apply RaidZone's PvP loss rules to the PvE scenario.

Confirm the mode and the full server name

Isles of Abyss and Isles of Abyss: RaidZone are separate choices. RaidZone requires changing the mode in the upper-left corner of the character sign-in page before choosing its server. A familiar ocean image is not enough to tell you which rules you have selected.

If friends are coming, agree on the region and exact server name before joining. Our server transfer reference covers new-character entry, eligible scenario settlement, Scenario Squads and the Special Invitation Code route for a full server. Settle that decision before planning where everyone will meet in the world.

Check Tech before starting a level grind

In this scenario, character level is not the missing step an old leveling guide may suggest. Tech still limits the rarity of gear you can craft and how many Mod attributes are active. The Cradle system is unavailable here.

Follow the opening story and check the next Tech requirements instead of grinding levels or assuming a shared blueprint has vanished. The existing blueprint and Mod guide explains that restriction. Gather toward an unlock you can actually use, then improve the supply line that supports the next trip.

Pack breathing support and a way out

The Basic Diving Suit provides basic ocean-contamination resistance. Later, the Shark Diving Suit improves that protection and swimming speed. Neither description makes the suit an unlimited oxygen supply.

An Oxygen Tank automatically activates when oxygen runs out. An Inflatable Float serves a different purpose: rapid ascent when you need to leave. An Air Cushion gives a temporary surface foothold. The ocean gear reference separates these roles so you do not pack one and assume it performs all three.

Start with shallow wrecks while improving protection and supplies. Before descending farther, identify the way back and watch the oxygen reserve. A new loot clue is not a reason to spend the return portion of the dive pushing deeper.

Match the kit to the Haywire Zone

Temperature, Sanity loss and Time Rain call for different preparation. Mist Core Clarity Soup helps with cold and seeing through Mist of Deceit. The Blaze Core Lantern disperses that mist and raises temperature while consuming durability. A Black Tide Protective Mask instead slows Sanity loss in Black Tide; it is not described as complete immunity.

For Time Rain, Time-Reverse Cookies offer temporary protection against its body effects. The Time-Reverse Raincoat provides protection while worn, but costs some movement speed and consumes durability. Choose for the destination and check the condition of the tool you are relying on. A generic combat-food stack is not a substitute for the relevant protection.

Save the layout, then inspect the ship

Use Build Mode to construct your first vessel and save a useful configuration as a Design Layout. That makes a successful build reusable, but it is separate from checking whether the current ship is damaged.

The Time-Reverse Welding Torch restores building and facility durability. An activated territory repair facility repairs damaged structures and facilities over time. Before another encounter, check what needs restoring and whether the necessary repair support is ready.

Keep the first plan modest: a ship that can support the next outing, supplies matched to one destination and a route home. You can improve production, personal gear and ship weapons as Tech advances without pretending the opening voyage needs an endgame fleet.
